Any travel guide will tell you Barcelona is an “uber-cool” City and the “promenade” of that City (for the tourists anyway) is La Rambla. Most barrios (suburbs) have their own “rambla” – it’s where you ramble ! But this is the Rambla in the centre of “uber cool” Barcelona. It hums 20 hours a day and is always full of people and restaurants and entertainers and street dining and shops. No one leaves Barcelona without walking     La Rambla.
