Well this certainly lives up to it’s name, it is a Great Wall indeed, how it was built I have no idea but Ghengis Kahn must have been a frightening figure to have caused this. It’s incredibly steep, even walking up the wall. Getting to Badaling is an hours train ride from Beijing, a wonderful experience.
